Rock fans had a chance to be part of history, when Uriah Heep was Inducted into the Hall of Heavy Metal History, May 16, 2019 at the Mohegan Sun Casino.

The Induction Ceremony took place onstage during the band’s live performance. Hall of Heavy Metal History Founder/CEO Pat Gesualdo, was joined onstage by legendary journalist/author Martin Popoff to induct the band.

The show was part of Uriah Heep’s current North American tour, their latest CD Living The Dream, and their North American tour with co-Hall of Heavy Metal History Inductees, Judas Priest.

Uriah Heep founder and lead guitarist Mick Box said:

“It’s just amazing to be inducted into the Hall of Heavy Metal History. It’s the fans that put us there.”  

Hall of Heavy Metal History founder/CEO Pat Gesualdo said:

“We are so proud to induct Uriah Heep into the Hall of Heavy Metal History. It was a great honor to have Judas Priest, Martin Popoff, the entire Mohegan Sun Team, and all the fans attending the show, join us in celebrating Uriah Heep’s 50th Anniversary.”
