Edmonton hardcore outfit Time’s Tide will be releasing their debut EP Past Lives on 7″ through Hard Loss Records. Initially released digitally, the EP will now be available on black (300 copies), blue (100 copies), and coke bottle (100 copies) vinyl. The effort is available for pre-order now through the label at this location. A full-stream of the six-track EP is available now and can be heard below. Drawing influence from early 2000s melodic hardcore bands from the Pacific Northwest, as well as classic Youth Crew bands from the 90s, Time’s Tide stands out in Western Canada. In a scene that is saturated with heavyweight metallic hardcore and artsy post hardcore bands, Past Lives is a breath of fresh air. For fans of Go it Alone, Sinking Ships, and Champion.
