Texas instrumental outfit This Will Destroy You are streaming a previously unreleased track from their debut album, Young Mountain, titled “Sleep”. The song is now available online and can be heard exclusively over at A.V. Club Originally released in 2006, the group are celebrating the tenth anniversary of the record with a special reissue through Magic Bullet Records, which will include “Sleep”. CD and digital copies of the reissue will hit stores on November 4th, while vinyl editions are due on November 18th. This Will Destroy You will wrap up the year with a series of shows where they will perform Young Mountain along with their self-titled, back to back. Guitarist Jeremy Galindo comments:
“I hadn’t heard Young Mountain or This Will Destroy You in years. After listening through again, I felt oddly connected to it in a way that I wasn’t expecting. It reminded me of the beginning, before we had any clue we would achieve all we have in the past decade. It wasn’t nostalgia that I was feeling… more like listening to the albums for the first time. I really enjoyed that experience and am excited to perform these two albums that got us to where we are today.”
