The Autumn Offering vocalist Matt McChesney is currently undergoing treatment for leukemia at a hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. A YouCaring campaign has been launched in order to help out with his medical expenses. The following statement was shared on the YouCaring page:
“Matt McChesney is fighting a battle with Leukemia and could use your support. Luckily he is getting top notch care from the staff at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick but has hit a number of setbacks from infection, housing, inability to work, etc. He is also several hundred miles from his mother, sister, and brother which makes it difficult for them to visit him. If you are a friend, family, or fan of his music I am asking you to donate so that Matt can not only cope with rising medical costs but also see his family and get stable housing.”
