SUMAC – the new group featuring vocalist/guitarist Aaron Turner (Old Man Gloom, ex-ISIS), drummer Nick Yacyshyn, and bassist Brian Cook (Russian Circles, ex-Botch) – have released a teaser for their forthcoming debut effort The Deal. The record is currently slated to hit shelves on February 3rd via Profound Lore/SIGE. Tomorrow will mark the band’s first live performance at the Rickshaw Theatre in Vancouver, BC as support for Deafheaven. A second show will take place on Friday, December 5th as well judging by the following status update made to the band’s Facebook regarding the teaser and performance:
