A new song by Turin, Italy instrumental rock outfit Stearica has premiered online. “Shāh Māt” – which features an appearance by acclaimed multi-instrumentalist Colin Stetson, who contributes flute, French horns and tenor and bass saxophones on the song – is now available for mass consumption courtesy of Clash. The track is part of the band’s forthcoming Monotreme Records full-length Fertile, out April 13. Other guest appearances on the effort include Scott McCloud (Girls Against Boys) provides vocals for “Amreeka”, and Ryan Patterson (Coliseum) provides vocals on “Nur”.

The album is available now for pre-order as a deluxe 180-gram 2xLP double-gatefold edition which includes a CD version and a poster. This bundle is limited to 500 copies: 300 on red and black vinyl, the remaining 200 on black. Physical copies are available through Monotreme Records, while digital versions can be ordered from iTunes.
