Silent Planet sign with UNFD, confirm November release for new album; premiere video for new track “Share The Body”

Silent Planet have signed a deal with Australian label UNFD for worldwide distribution outside of North America, where they are signed to Solid State Records. With the signing comes news that the band’s upcoming full-length When The End Began has been confirmed for release on November 2nd. Pre-orders are available on physical and digital formats here.

Additonally, the group have released a music video for the latest single from the record, “Share The Body”, which examines the current opioid epidemic. Frontman Garrett Russell explains the concept behind the song offering:

‘Share The Body’ explores the brutal opioid epidemic that is ravaging communities around the world. Approaching addiction from the inside-out, our song and video attempts to follow the genesis of addiction (pharmaceutical) all the way to narcotics and subsequent overdose. Many of the lyrics and themes stem from conversations we’ve had at shows and online with our listeners. It’s our hope that this track starts difficult conversations, and inspires some who are struggling with addiction to open up and seek help.”
