Rise of the Northstar have just signed a licensing deal with Nuclear Blast that will partner them with the band’s current label Repercussion Records. Via their Facebook, the band made the following statement:

“‘Ssup fellaz,
We’ve got good news and bad news.
After years spent fighting like hell in the underground, ROTNS finally caught the attention of a heavyweight ally to pursue its quest…

With pride we anounce a new partnership between our label REPRESSION RECORDS and the world’s biggest independant metal label NUCLEAR BLAST (Slayer, Machine Head, Hatebreed, Madball…).

We are proud of this 1st album and always wanted it to be available worldwide, NUCLEAR BLAST lends us its firepower. These guys understand our artistic vision and respect our DIY upbringing. This is why their banner is more than WelcAme under the auspices of The Northstar.

The bad news is that due to logistical reasons, the album release has to be postponed.

‘WELCAME’ available worldwide on November 2014.

Let it be,
ROTNS.”

Rise of the Northstar will be releasing their debut album Welcame on November 24th, it will feature a cover of Pharoahe Monch’s “Simon Says”. You can stream the song below.
