In 2002 Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine suffered an injury to the radial nerve in his left arm that left him unable to play guitar which led to the disbandment of Megadeth. However, after much therapy, he recovered and put the band back together. After reuniting the band they released The System Has Failed in September of 2004, Megadeth’s tenth studio album. That makes the album ten years old this year and to celebrate the anniversary Megadeth have released a previously unreleased video for the track “Back In The Day” from the record, which can be viewed above.

In other Megadeth news, five of the band’s early releases will be pressed on picture disc vinyl. The album’s respective album cover will be printed on the vinyls, which are currently scheduled for a November 11th release via UMe. Dave Mustaine was personally involved in the remastering of the mixes for the effort. The albums included in this project are:

  • Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying?
  • So Far, So Good…So What!
  • Rust In Peace
  • Countdown To Extinction
  • Youthanasia
