Posting to his Instagram, Mastodon vocalist/guitarist Brent Hinds has revealed that he is working on new material for the progressive sludge rockers. The image below was posted with the following caption, confirming the news:
“Got to work on a really cool new mastodon song today ! First time playing my new 13string pedal steel I got from @robertrandolf”
No word on whether the band are working collectively, individually, or if it’s just Hinds preparing material for a new release. Either way, new Mastodon is a good thing.
