King 810 have released a new song titled “We Gotta Help Ourselves”. The track was written to raise awareness concerning the ongoing water crisis in the band’s hometown of Flint, MI. The band have teamed up with Savage Village Clothing and released a t-shirt, with proceeds going to the Flint Child Health & Development Fund. Vocalist David Gunn comments:
“We chose to work with the Flint Child Health & Development Fund because we believe children are the most important people in the equation. They’re also affected the most by what’s going on. Aside from the urgent need for clean water, it’s important to focus on the long term effects that could come as a result to this exposure, so that’s our main focus here.”
