Montreal’s Heaven’s Cry have released a teaser of their forthcoming record Outcast. The clip features the album’s artwork alongside quotes from political activist Noam Chomsky, whom approved a selection of one of his speeces to appear in the new track “The Human Factor”. Vocalist/bassist Sylvain Auclair comments:
“Pierre (St-Jean, vocals/guitar) introduced me to Noam Chomsky’s work in the early 2000s. When the time came to dress up that two-minute instrumental part in ‘The Human Factor’, Noams’ 1970 Government in the Future lecture was a perfect fit.”
The new record is scheduled for release on June 3th via Prosthetic Records. More details, including pre-orders, will be revealed at a later date.
