Enter Shikari have announced a tour of North America to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut record, Take To The Skies. Frontman Rou Reynolds said of the tour:

“We’re glad we were able to include North America in the plans for the 10th anniversary shows, as we’ve been making the track across the Atlantic regularly since the album’s release, and there’s a lot of people still coming to shows today that have been with us since the very start.

We’ll never write another album like Take To The Skies, as Enter Shikari isn’t really a band that looks backwards, but to be celebrating the decade anniversary of our debut album feels insane.

It’s going to be a celebration of that album rather than being the clichéd ‘play the album front-to-back’.

But, as this is a special occasion, it’s important for us to recognise the importance of this album to us, and for the family of people who have supported us since those early days. On a purely selfish note, I cannot wait to play some of the tracks we haven’t played since 2007, or even ever!

The fact that we get to reminisce and relive tracks we recorded so long ago, and that are still held dear by so many, is something I could have never anticipated back then and fills me with appreciation for everyone that has supported this band over the years.”

Joining the U.K. rockers as direct support will be Being As An Ocean. Tickets are on sale now and available for purchase at this location.
