Official press release:

Season Of Mist are proud to announce the signing of Australia’s Circles. The progressive metal band is slated to release a new album via the label later this year.

Circles combine mind-bending rhythms, captivating vocals, razor-edge guitar tones and rumbling bass lines to place themselves squarely as the next step in the evolution of heavy music.

Throughout their two releases to date – The Compass and Infinitas, the band have constantly evolved and brought new elements to heavy music and djent as a genre. Through these albums and relentless touring, Circles have garnered almost unanimously positive reaction from fans and critics alike. The band has taken stage at some of the world’s most prestigious heavy/prog festivals such as Euroblast, Progfest, BigSound Festival, and traveled on national tours with bands such as The Dillinger Escape Plan, Periphery, Ne Obliviscaris, and more.

Now, with an eye firmly set to the future as a four-piece outfit, Circles evolve yet again with their forthcoming album.

Regarding the signing, guitarist Ted Furuhashi comments:

“We’re stoked and honored to be teaming up with Season Of Mist and Wild Thing Records. It’s been great vibes all round and we know they’re invested in our music as much as we are. It’s been a while but we’re ready to smash it and show you guys what we’ve been up to!”

Circles are currently kicking off an Australian tour alongside label-mates Ne Obliviscaris. To celebrate the tour kickoff, Circles have released a brand new track titled “Blueprints For A Great Escape”. The track is streaming now, here:
