Capture The Crown rechristen themselves Capture, debut new song “Lost Control”; announce tour with My Enemies & I, Kingdom Of Giants, and Dayseeker

Earlier this week, Australian metalcore outfit Capture The Crown seemingly broke up when they posted the following image to their social media accounts:

Turns out it was part breakup/part re-branding as the band is now going by the moniker Capture.

In an interview with now former guitarist Mitchell Rogers and drummer Alec Hoxsey over at The Sickest, the pair reveal that they are “100% done” with Capture The Crown frontman Jeffrey Wellfare. The break apparently took place last November following a physical altercation where Wellfare punched Hoxsey. The pair have since launched a new project called BXD BLXXD (Bad Blood). The band have a new song out as well, titled “Capture”, check it out here. No official word has surfaced on whether bassist Maurice Morfaw remains with the band, although sources tell The Sickest that everyone, save for Wellfare, left the outfit back in November.

In any case, Capture continues on with the release of their new single “Lost Control”; embedded below. Additionally, the group has announced The Social Suicide Tour with My Enemies & I, Kingdom Of Giants, and Dayseeker. The spring tour will kick off in May. “Lost Control” is available digitally through iTunes.
