Official press release:

Canadian quintet Calling All Captains is thrilled to share their new video for “Chasing Ghosts”, streaming now exclusively on Alternative Press. Additionally, the band has announced their forthcoming EP and Equal Vision Records debut, Nothing Grows Here, out February 8th, 2019. The EP, which also features the previously released single “Disconnected”, is now available for pre-order at this location. The band shares:

‘Chasing Ghosts’ has a lot of layers to it’s meaning, especially for the different members of the band. It encapsulates all of the self doubt and negative behaviours that go along with always looking in the rearview mirror and knowing that you’re not living in the present. Smoking and drinking as a way to cope with everything because of the issues that have to be faced doesn’t get you anywhere. This song is a love letter to all those who are stuck in the same cycle of destructive behaviours that come with romanticizing the past.”

Calling All Captains will be bringing their pop punk melodies to the U.S. this winter in support of the upcoming release. The six week run kicks off next month and features support throughout from Settle Your Scores, Gardenside, Gold Steps, Brigades, Felicity, and Makari. To purchase tickets, please visit this link.
