Bring Me The Horizon set January release for new album Amo; announce world tour

Bring Me The Horizon have set Amo as the title of their upcoming sixth studio record. The effort has been scheduled for release on January 11th through RCA/Sony. Vocalist Oli Sykes and keyboardist/sampler Jordan Fish handled the album’s production. Sykes said of the record:

Amo is a love album that explores every aspect of that most powerful emotion. It deals with the good the bad and the ugly, and as a result we’ve created an album that’s more experimental, more varied, weird, and wonderful than anything we’ve done before.”

The band issued the first single off the record, “Mantra”, yesterday; listen here. Pre-orders are available now at BMTHOfficial.com. The tentative artwork for Amo can be found below.

Additionally, Bring Me The Horizon have announced tours of Europe, the U.K., North America, and Australia. Tickets go on sale next Friday, August 31st via the band’s website (link above). Support acts have yet to be revealed. Dates kick off this fall and carry over into next year.
